POSITION SPECIFICS

The Penn State College of Medicine, Department of Medicine, in Hershey, PA is seeking a dedicated full-time Clinical Research Coordinator to lead the day-to-day operations of a NIH-funded Sleep-Cardiovascular study. This role is critical in ensuring the study remains on schedule while maintaining the highest standards of clinical integrity.

Key responsibilities:
  • Participant Coordination: Lead all phases of participant engagement, including recruitment, screening, scheduling, and obtaining informed consent. Manage participant retention strategies and oversee compensation.
  • Data Oversight: Manage data collection and monitor incoming study data for analysis; ensure data consistency and integrity across all datasets.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Maintain regulatory binders and coordinate closely with the Institutional Review Board (IRB) to ensure protocol compliance and timely submissions.
  • Study Management: Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and workflow processes to ensure study milestones and project timelines are met.


The ideal candidate will have a strong background in REDCap data entry and experience working with an Institutional Review Board (IRB). It is important that the candidate has experience working with a team. The candidate must have strong verbal and written communication skills and be able to multi-task.

This position requires a bachelor's degree and 1+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

This is a limited-term position with possibility of refunding.

SALARY & BENEFITS
The salary range for this position, including all possible grades, is $46,400.00 - $67,300.00.
