The Department of Urology seeks to provide all patients with the best urological care. Our team strives to provide patients with comprehensive care and the latest discoveries in education and research, leading to innovative techniques and minimally invasive procedures.
Responsibilities: The Community Health Educator for Men’s Health serves as a trusted liaison between healthcare providers, community organizations and the public to advance awareness, education, and engagement around men’s urologic health. This role emphasizes prevention, early detection, lifestyle-based risk reduction and patient empowerment through evidence-based education and hands-on learning experiences.
A core component this position includes coordinating and leading educational programming within the Men’s Health Teaching Kitchen, where nutrition education, cooking demonstrations, and lifestyle coaching are used to support urologic health, cardiovascular health, metabolic wellness and overall quality of life. The educator plays a critical role in normalizing conversations around men’s health, reducing stigma and improving access through culturally responsive community engagement.
