A Remote Data Capturing Clerk is responsible for inputting, verifying, and managing data from various sources into computer systems or databases. This role requires strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work independently from home.

Key Responsibilities

• Enter data from source documents into databases or systems with high accuracy
  
• Verify and review data for errors or inconsistencies
  
• Update and maintain existing records
  
• Organize and store digital files securely
  
• Perform routine data quality checks and corrections
  
• Generate basic reports when required
  
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  
• Communicate with team members or supervisors regarding data issues
  

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (associate’s degree is a plus)
  
• Proven experience in data entry or administrative roles preferred
  
• Fast and accurate typing skills (typically 40–60+ WPM)
  
• Proficiency in tools like spreadsheets (e.g., Excel) and data management systems
  
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  
• Basic knowledge of data privacy and security practices
  
• Reliable internet connection and a suitable remote workspace
