Job Description

The District Manager is responsible for leading a group of stores within a specific geographic area, ensuring operational excellence, driving sales and profitability, and fostering a culture that reflects MINISO’s core values. The District Manager will coach and develop Store Managers to deliver exceptional customer experiences, maintain visual display standards, and drive team performance.

  • Lead and manage a district of 8-16 stores, ensuring all operational and visual standards are met. In some cases, larger districts may have the support of an Area Manager.
  • Drive sales and profitability through strategic planning, effective execution, and team motivation.
  • Analyze financial reports and KPIs to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Recruit, hire, train, and retain high-performing Store Managers and Area Managers (if applicable) and assist in developing future leaders to support MINISO’s rapid growth.
  • Conduct regular store visits to assess performance, provide coaching, and ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Ensure all stores deliver consistent, outstanding customer service aligned with MINISO expectations.
  • Implement and uphold all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Lead execution of all merchandising, marketing, and promotional initiatives in the district.
  • Partner with corporate and regional leadership to align district goals with MINISO’s company strategies.
  • Drive loss prevention awareness and shrink reduction efforts across all locations.
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire large teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong business acumen, including P&L management and labor control.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • High level of integrity, initiative, and results-orientation.
  • Ability to travel frequently within assigned district.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field preferred.
  • 3-5 years of multi-unit retail management experience; specialty or value retail preferred.

USD $72,100.00 - USD $90,000.00 /Yr.
