We are seeking a Jr Software Engineer to support the development and maintenance of complex software systems within a collaborative engineering environment. This role involves building scalable applications, integrating modern technologies, and supporting both frontend and backend development efforts.The ideal candidate has experience with C++ and Python development, modern web technologies, containerization, and database platforms, along with a strong interest in developing innovative and mission-focused technical solutions.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain full stack software applications and servicesDevelop backend functionality using C++, Python, Java, and related technologiesBuild and maintain frontend applications using Angular, HTML, JavaScript, and modern web frameworksDevelop and support database solutions using MongoDB and SQL-based technologiesDeploy and manage applications using Docker and KubernetesAnalyze user requirements and translate them into software design and performance solutionsDebug and resolve software defects and performance issuesIntegrate software into new and existing systems and environmentsDevelop database queries and support data processing activitiesParticipate in software testing, validation, and quality assurance activitiesContribute to software documentation and process improvement initiativesCollaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycleRequired QualificationsMust be fully cleared with a recent MD polygraphMust be willing and able to work fully onsite at the location listed in this postingBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline (or equivalent experience)Strong programming experience with C++ and PythonExperience with Java developmentExperience working with MongoDB and SQL databasesExperience with Docker and KubernetesExperience developing frontend applications using Angular, HTML, and JavaScriptUnderstanding of software development lifecycle methodologies and best practicesStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a team environmentDesired Qualifications Experience working with distributed systems or cloud-based environmentsFamiliarity with Agile software development methodologiesExperience supporting data-intensive or real-time applicationsExperience with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines#CJFantom Corp is a Software Development, Agile Cloud, Cyber Security (Risk Management, Assessments & Authorization (A&A)), Data, AI Platform (Computer Vision Models), Podcasting Media Services, and IT Services provider.
