Job Description

Salary: $72,000 - 85,000 per year Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics
  • Proficiency in C/C++ and Java
  • Familiarity with the Software Development Lifecycle
  • Experience with the Microsoft Product Suite
  • Knowledge of Software Version Control
  • Understanding of satellite telemetry and commanding
  • Experience with EPOCH Product Suite and OASYS
  • Proficiency in Git Version Control
  • Background in MILSATCOM Operations
  • Familiarity with scripting/programming languages (Perl, C, Shell, Batch, etc.)
  • Experience in Software Regression Testing
  • Security clearance (Secret) required
  • Ability to relocate to Colorado Springs, CO before starting work
Responsibilities:
  • Participate in the design, development, testing, and maintenance of various software products for satellite programs
  • Support diverse projects across all stages of the software development lifecycle
  • Quickly develop estimates and status reports on design efforts, including presentation materials
  • Work independently as well as collaboratively within a small team environment
  • Ensure adherence to strict timelines and maintain a high level of attention to detail
  • Communicate effectively both in writing and orally with team members and customers
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of APIs, GUIs, and mission-specific software
