Position Summary
We are prayerfully seeking a Christ-centered, Spirit-led Lead Pastor to guide our church and community in fulfilling our vision and mission. The ideal candidate will be a bilingual (Spanish/English) passionate preacher and teacher of God’s Word, a compassionate shepherd to the congregation, and a visionary leader capable of equipping and motivating others for ministry and service.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide spiritual leadership and pastoral care to the church and local community
• Prepare and deliver engaging, biblically sound weekly sermons aligned with the church’s vision and mission
• Oversee and work collaboratively with church staff, ministry leaders, and volunteers
• Cast and implement vision for the church in alignment with its core values
• Foster a welcoming, multicultural, and multigenerational church environment
• Encourage and equip members to actively serve in ministry
• Teach and disciple individuals and groups to grow in faith
• Represent the church in the community with a heart for outreach and evangelism
Qualifications
• A committed follower of Jesus Christ with a deep love for the Church
• Ordained minister with a degree in theology, ministry, or a related field preferred
• Preferably bilingual (Spanish/English) to better serve a diverse congregation
• Strong communication, teaching, and preaching skills
• Proven leadership experience in a pastoral or ministry context
• Shepherd’s heart with a servant-leader mindset
• Highly motivational and able to inspire church engagement and service
