Job Description

Salary: $140,000 - 155,000 per year Requirements:

• Over 8 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Production Engineering
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities as a technical lead or team supervisor, with a focus on overseeing and guiding engineers
• Extensive hands-on experience with defining, managing, and reporting on SLA/SLO/SLI metrics
• Proficient in working within Microsoft Azure environments, encompassing IaaS, PaaS, networking, and monitoring
• Practical experience with Dynatrace including setup, alert configuration, dashboard creation, and performance diagnostics
• Familiarity with observability tools, monitoring solutions, and APM technologies in operational settings
• Capacity to perform effectively under pressure in high-stakes, time-sensitive scenarios

• Establish and execute a comprehensive reliability strategy for the trading portfolio, addressing infrastructure, network connectivity, application performance, and throughput
• Direct and manage a team of Site Reliability Engineers, offering technical guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations
• Own and refine the SLA/SLO/SLI framework, which includes overseeing error budgets and service health reports
• Set up and enhance extensive monitoring and alerting systems across both infrastructure and applications
• Promote best practices in observability utilizing APM and monitoring tools such as Dynatrace
• Assess application and infrastructure performance to pinpoint fault domains and identify root causes of critical incidents
• Lead major incident management efforts, coordinate resolution processes, and conduct postmortems without blame
• Participate in 24/7 support rotation, ensuring operational excellence throughout the team
• Recognize automation opportunities to bolster reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency
