About First Baptist Church
First Baptist Church is a traditional Southern Baptist congregation located in Orofino, Idaho. With a membership of more than 30 individuals, our church is Bible-centered, multi-generational, and dedicated to sharing the gospel and fostering discipleship among all ages. Our community values strong faith, vibrant worship, and a commitment to spiritual growth.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Preach God’s Word during Sunday morning and Wednesday evening services.
• Disciple believers to nurture and strengthen their faith.
• Reach out to unbelievers for the Glory of God, sharing the message of salvation.
• Visit members of the congregation and those who are unable to attend services.
• Engage actively in the community to build relationships and serve local needs.
• Oversee the various functions and day-to-day operations of the church.

Qualifications and Expectations:

• Exhibit character qualities in accordance with I Timothy 3:1-7.
• Adhere to “A Statement of the Traditional Southern Baptist Understanding of God’s Plan of Salvation.” We do not agree or conform to the Reformed Baptist sector within the Southern Baptist Convention and Do Not adhere to the Reformed theological tradition, the Doctrines of Calvinism or five points of Calvinism.
• Bible College or seminary education is preferred.
• Pastoral experience is preferred.

The church offers a beautiful facility, including a spacious parsonage and additional benefits. Historic Orofino, Idaho, is situated in north central Idaho along the Clearwater River and is renowned for its rich history and abundant opportunities for outdoor activities.
