Staff Accountant

? Onsite in Philadelphia, PA. 19106 | Full-Time | Monday–Friday

A growing organization is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join their team full-time onsite. This role offers hands-on exposure to core accounting operations including accounts payable, payroll, reconciliations, invoicing, and financial support functions, with long-term growth potential into a Senior Staff Accountant path.

Responsibilities

• Process and manage accounts payable activities
  
• Assist with bi-weekly payroll processing
  
• Perform bank and account reconciliations
  
• Support monthly invoicing and billing functions
  
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
  
• Assist with general accounting and operational finance tasks
  
• Collaborate with leadership and accounting team members on daily financial operations
  
• Utilize Excel and accounting software to support reporting and tracking

Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
  
• Prior accounting experience required
  
• Experience with AP, payroll, reconciliations, or invoicing preferred
  
• Intermediate Excel skills, including formulas and spreadsheets
  
• Experience with accounting software such as MIP or Paycom is a plus
  
• Grant accounting exposure is a plus
