Ranch Hand

PeopleReady of Simi Valley, CA is now hiring Ranch Hands in Thousand Oaks, CA! We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Ranch Hand to assist with daily operations at a large ranch property in Thousand Oaks. This role involves outdoor work and maintaining the ranch grounds where horses and donkeys are housed.

Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $19 - $19 / hour*

What you'll be doing as a Ranch Hand:

• Cleaning and mucking horse and donkey stalls
• Cutting grass and maintaining ranch grounds
• Gardening and landscaping tasks
• Walking the property to assist with general ranch upkeep
• Basic ranch maintenance and cleanup
• Assisting with feeding or watering animals when needed
• Keeping work areas clean and organized

Available shifts:

Shift timings - 1st Shift (Day), Weekends 

Monday – Saturday | 7:00 AM start

Job requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady
• Comfortable working around horses and donkeys
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Must be able to walk long distances and remain on your feet for extended periods
• Ability to lift 40–50 lbs
• Reliable transportation to Thousand Oaks
• Strong work ethic and ability to follow instructions
• Background check and drug test required
